Any unauthorized use of this website/app or its content may result in immediate termination of access and may lead to legal action, including claims for damages.

Writers retain all rights to their submitted stories. BattleHiveFiction.com accepts absolutely no responsibility for copyright disputes between participants. All stories must be created and written during the given time period of battles as listed in the Battle Arena. The Battle Hive team reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for a submission that is deemed plagiaristic or otherwise unoriginal to the writer.

Writers have the option to share their stories during all phases of battle. All submitted stories will be viewable by members during the LAST STORY STANDING battle box. Stories will only be made public outside of member-locked pages if the public setting is selected in the Battle Archive.

Usernames can be edited in the user's account controls. Usernames will be viewable to all participants during all phases of our battles. Winner usernames and story titles will be disclosed in the final email alert to all participants. Offensive usernames may result in account suspension or deletion.

BattleHiveFiction.com reserves the right to moderate stories, usernames, and comments. Participants found in violation of community guidelines and rules are subject to disqualification, temporarily frozen accounts, and/or account removal.

Hereby each user indemnifies, releases, discharges, defends, and holds BattleHiveFiction.com harmless from any and all claims, losses, damages, obligations, expenses, penalties, settlements, litigations, judgments, and any other liabilities of any kind whatsoever arising out of the creation, production or other use of any participant's entry, and any other activities which relate to any entry or this competition whatsoever. This includes, but is not limited, to any third-party claim as to the rights or ownership or violation of any entered story whatsoever. This includes any other liability of any kind that arises out of participation in this competition.

Battle Hive Fiction writing competitions are an exercise of skill and cannot be considered gambling, nor a game of chance.
