1. Choose Your Battle

View & Unlock available battles in the Arena. When your battle opens, it's time to start writing! Every battle offers a unique challenge with different word counts, prompts, and prizes!

2. Choose Your Hive

3. Select 2 Prompts & Write Your Story

Work on your draft until you're ready to submit. Your HIVE & Prompt selection will not be locked until you save your draft. Stories will be limited by the word count as counted by our submission box.

4. Get Feedback in betaHive

Share your draft with the betaHive community to receive valuable feedback and suggestions before final submission. This optional step helps you refine your story.

5. Submission & Peer-Judging

After writing closes, the LAST STORY STANDING battle box opens. Participants read and judge story matches from other hives, with the results displayed in real time on our Battle Scoreboard. Top stories per HIVE & Tier Level win!

Community Growth

Beyond prizes, Battle Hive Fiction offers a supportive writing community. By participating, you'll improve your craft, increase your practice, and create stories that can be expanded on for other submissions/publications!
